Activities

Through advocacy, WPF aims to create a supportive environment in which people can their own individual, informed choice about their sexual lives and of the number and spacing of their children.

The main goals in this area are: to promote and protect rights of young people, including their right to participate, to guarantee correct and complete information and services for all, to prevent unintended pregnancy and unsafe abortion, to stop (sexual) violence against women and girls and to abolish female genital mutilation.

Activities are clustered in a number of projects:

• Influencing Dutch policies: activities in the Netherlands; 
• Influencing European policies: activities in Europe;
• International activities;
• Advocacy in developing countries.
