Strategy

Since advocacy messages have more effect when they come from a large group of organisations, networking with other NGO’s and networks is also an important strategy to make our message heard. WPF is a member in several networks, including Partos, the umbrella association for Dutch development NGOs and EuroNGOs – a network of European NGOs active in the field of sexual and reproductive health and rights.
WPF also supports its partners in developing countries to carry out advocacy activities directed at their own governments. Finally, WPF promotes sexual and reproductive health and rights at international level – the UN.

Already since 1997, WPF is investing in young people. Supporting youth participation continues to be a priority issue for WPF, especially by supporting CHOICE and YouAct.
