The Uganda Network for Sexuality Education Mainstreaming (UNESEM) consists of 6 Oxfam Novib education partners. From early 2008 onwards with support of Oxfam Novib, the World Population Foundation (WPF) provided regular trainings and field visits to build UNESEM’s capacity on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and on systematic project development and implementation.
This video is a report of the development phase during 2008-2009, in which the organizations formed the network and developed pilot projects. It aims to provide an impression of the lessons learned of UNESEM and how mainstreaming SRHR can be achieved in order to contribute to the quality of educational programmes.
The video will be available soon at Oxfam Novib’s Kic-Portal.
