WPF receives 8 million euro from Minister for Development Cooperation

Agnes Van Ardenne, the Dutch minister for Development Cooperation has granted the application of WPF, which WPF had submitted a programme application within the framework of the so called Medefinancieringsstelsel (MFS) 2007-2010  in the amount of 8 million euro. The minister has granted the total amount to WPF. 

In a timeframe of 4 years this will - for instance -  be spent on:  
- education for young people;
- prevention of gender based violence;
- a public awareness campaign.

The grant shows that the minister attaches great importance to the workfield of WPF (Sexual and Reproductive Rights and Health) and that she has faith in the organisation.
