Vietnam

In Vietnam WPF has a field office. The people who work there are responsible for the implementation of projects in Vietnam. They report to the head office in Utrecht, The Netherlands.

In Vietnam there are projects on sexuality education for young people:

• Interactive Theater;
• Break-Through: Health services for young people in re-education schools;
• 'The World Starts With Me' in Vietnam;
• Using your hands...to talk about sex.
• Dance4Life

Young people will delay sex sooner and make conscious decisions if they receive comprehensive information on sexuality and having children. They also learn the skills they need on how to negotiate whether to have sex or not; on condom use and other contracteption. That way they are equiped to protect themselves against unwanted pregnancy and STDs, including HIV/AIDS.
