Factsheet The World Starts With Me

In 2003 WPF, in cooperation with Butterfly Works and SchoolNet Uganda, developed and implemented an innovative, PC-based, online curriculum on sexual and reproductive health and rights: the World Starts With Me (WSWM).

The World Starts with Me is a computer-based sexuality and life skills education in secondary schools in Indonesia, Thailand, Kenya & Uganda.
The programme aims at both school-going young people and early school leavers. The World Starts With Me combines building IT-skills and creative expression. With The World Starts With Me, WPF aims to contribute not only to the improvement of the sexual and reproductive health of young people, but also to their social and economic development.
